As a published author of two Internet Marketing related books and two self-development audio programmes, Carl is also a highly sort after seminar speaker and marketing coach.
As a late business graduate who started his career as an apprenticeship served Mechanical and Production Engineer, Carl says, “Having learned how to make things, I then wanted to learn how to sell things”.
Considering himself to be both an Internet Strategist and a Marketing Strategist, Carl integrates them together to help develop effective marketing and e-marketing mixes. He prides himself on his ‘grassroots’ practical approach to delivering his consultancy, and materials, utilising his own hands-on, no-nonsense, tried and tested examples that have consistently generated profit growth in the ‘real-world’.
Within the pneumatics and hydraulics industry, Carl worked as both Sales Engineer and Sales Manager for over eight years where he fine tuned his sales and communication skills and gained international business experience having set up the UK divisional operations for a $200 million American corporate automotive and aerospace supplier, in the late 1990’s
With a passion for life-long learning, Carl has read and studied some of the highest profile marketing experts in the world today and, having taken those concepts, strategies, and techniques into the ’businessworld’, he has seen them work wonders for himself and others.
As an Accredited Consultant on the Business Link Approved Suppliers Register, Carl has delivered many Government, DTI, and LSC led initiatives, as well as presented numerous keynote Marketing and Internet related seminars at various Business Link, Chamber of Commerce and AWM (Regional Development Agency) level SME ‘Meet The Experts’ events, workshops, and master-classes. |
